This youth resource directory was created as a guide for parents, guardians, and youth, as well as service providers, in the villages of Bellwood, Broadview, Maywood and Melrose Park seeking and providing activities for young people to the age of 18.

YES- YOUTH ENCOURAGING SUCCESS - The youth-led arm of Proviso Action Committee for ages 12-18. Contact: Dr. Lena Hatchett -327-9015 lhatchett@lumc.edu. Using a popular education model to build teams and accomplish goals. The team makes decisions on issues, writes grants, and implements projects to empower teens. The focus for 2011 is self-image and identity. YES meets weekly on Wednesdays 4:00P- 6:00P at the Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine.
