For over 50 years, the Maywood Park District has been continuing the tradition of offering America’s favorite pastime sport to its community. Maywood Park District’s Youth Baseball program is a part of the Illinois Little League District 10 which consists of the following towns:

Berkeley, Broadview, Devon-Higgins, Elmhurst, Forest Park, Hillside, Maywood,

Melrose Park, Norridge, and River Forest

 Maywood Park District is proud to announce the “kick-off ” it's 2012 Youth Baseball Season.  While the purpose and mission of youth baseball is to leadership and encouragement that would: 1) educate the local area youth about the skills needed to play baseball, such as mental and physical development. 2) Show appreciation for the game of baseball, and to understand the basic ideals of teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play. 3)  and to instill integrity , loyalty,  character , and confidence (self-esteem) in the youth, so they may be grow to be strong, healthy, and happy adults who will know how to treat others  fairly and equitably by being involved in a fun, team building, and recreational activity that is free from overzealous competitive sports.

It is the Maywood Park District’s goal to ensure that every child who has a desire to play baseball be afforded that opportunity.   With a registration price of $40.00, your child has the opportunity to play amongst some of the best teams in the West Suburban area of Chicago.
